I love to make rings...its so cool to make something out of basically nothing. I start out with a simple piece of metal, sand, solder, add a round bezel. Solder the band, antique it, add a picture or something fun, resin, and its done! Instant jewelry! They are fun and funky, no two are exactly alike.
How pretty! That is something I usually have a hard time with is rings but I did make my husband a new wedding band in my metalsmithing class in Alaska out of Mokume. He wears it over his simple gold band. :)
