THIS
Here is my second entry for #RAExplorethePossibilities contest. This is a personal art journal. It measures 3 1/2 by 2 1/2 approx. Each page is a mini canvas you can create your own art work on, or use it to hold special memories close to your heart. I used a Relics and Artifacts face which I altered, and Ice Resin inside the little window I created. The front and back cover are made from copper.

King Neptune's Treasure
#RAExplorethePossibilities This is my first submission for the challenge. I used the Relics and Artifacts face, Ice Enamels on the box as well as Iced Resin. "King Neptune's Treasure" I do have another piece that I am working on, but it's not finished yet!:)
I loved working on this box. The Iced Enamels has always been one of my favorite materials to use. Endless possibilities! I love how the Ice Resin makes it look like it just came out of the sea!

Reticulated Pendant
I love the different effect you get when you melt silver onto copper. It sort of looks like a moonscape! I fold formed this piece of copper first, then hit it with the torch! I created the neckace out of steel wire ( my new favorite material to work with, although my hands get reaaally dirty after) forming, then smashing it with a hammer. The smashing part was very therapeutic;) I made the necklace rather long, but I sort of like it that way. Enjoy! Let me know what you think!

Poppies
I learned out to use plaster wrap to create this 3D painting of poppies from the talented Donna Downey. I love getting my hands full of color when creating, the colors become a part of you. This was so fun, I think I will make more!

Swirls
I decided to experiment with copper wire and scrap silver today. I coiled up some copper wire, then I laid scrap silver over and heated it up with my torch.

Keeper of the Forest
An old rusty paint brush I had found deep in the woods. As soon as I saw it, I knew what I wanted to create.
I used a resin piece from Relics and Artifacts, (which I altered) some moss covered twigs, some acorn hats and cheese cloth. Iced Enamels was used on the acorn hats, and I dyed a bit of cheese cloth with some walnut crystals for his hat. The handle of the brush I painted with burnt sienna acrylic paint, then went over it with white crackle medium. As you can see from the before picture, most of the mossy effect was already done for me by Mother Nature.
I hope you enjoyed this little altered brush, please leave me comments below and let me know what you all think!

Altered Tin Shrine
I finally found a use for all the little tins I've been saving! This was such a fun project. I had ordered the Relics And Artifacts Coquille set, which comes with four shells and four mini statues. The tin was a perfect size for the mini shrine idea I had in my head.

Titanium and Amethyst
I always want to spell amethyst amythist. I don't know why. Anywho, here is my latest creation. A mix of waxed linen, copper, African trade beads, titanium Quartz, amethyst, and a cool little faux raku bead I threw on there for fun.
Glimmer Glass Necklace
I really love this technique I learned from Fancifuldevices. Her stuff is amazing, and you can check her stuff out on Etsy! There is also a link to her blog on my blog list. Check her out! Oh and if you want to purchase mine you have to go to my etsy site. The link is there. Right there. On the right. Click it.
